Nocatee's Fitness Club is a 5,000 square-foot facility that offers plenty of room for group exercise and personal fitness.  Furnished with a full complement of state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment, the Fitness Club is located adjacent to Crosswater Hall and the Splash Water Park.  Nocatee residents and guests can tackle their fitness regimens while enjoying a great view of Splash Cove.  It is designed to offer residents all they need to achieve their fitness goals in a fun and vibrant environment.

At the Nocatee Fitness Club, top-notch personal trainers and group fitness instructors are available to personalize your exercise plan. A Fitness Orientation is held once per month by the trainers to teach residents about proper equipment usage.

Hours of Operation - 5:30 am to 10:00 pm daily.

To participate in our Fitness Classes, you must purchase a Fitness Card, available to both residents and non-residents. Each Fitness Card is good for 12 classes. Resident cards are available for $50 and non-resident cards are available for $75. Cards can be purchased in the Resident Services Office Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Attendees must be at least 14 years of age and accompanied by an adult until the age of 16.

Current Fitness Class Descriptions:

Body Blast - (Monday & Thursday; 6:30 pm) This class is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It's a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. The simplicity of the class makes Body Blast a great starting point to develop strength and confidence.

Hit the Trails- (Monday; 9:30 am) This class is an outdoor interval workout alternating speed walking and strength training.  Meet on Mondays at 9:00 am at the aerobics room to warm up and then head to the Nocatee Greenways.  If there is inclement weather, or temperatures below 50 we will exercise inside. 

Power Yoga - (Tuesday 6:30 p.m.) Provides a steady flow of Yoga postures that moves at a pace for fitness enthusiasts.  Perfect for those looking to increase strength, flexibility, and muscle endurance.  Be prepared to sweat!

Vinyasa Yoga- (Monday; 10:30 am) An intermediate class using a continuous flow of Yoga postures synchronizing the breath with movement to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance.

Core Fitness - (Wednesday; 9:00 am) Designed to build a strong and appealing core through the use of dumbbells and stability balls. This is a fun and challenging workout for all ability levels and is designed to make you leaner and stronger.

Zumba Tone- (Wednesday; 6:30pm) combines targeted body-sculpting excersises and high-energy cardio work with Latin infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength training dance fitness-party.

Pilates Express- (Tuesday; 6:30pm) This 30 minute mat class focuses on strength, precision, and flow of movement.  Participants will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the  deep muscles of the core.

Yoga Express- (Tuesday; 7:00pm)  A 30 minute class that uses a continuous flow of Yoga postures designed to take the kinks and stress out of your day and leave you feeling energized. 

Gentle Yoga - (Thursday 9:00 a.m.) Explores the combination of Yoga postures, breathing and meditation to help us achieve unity of mind, body and spirit . This class moves at a slower pace emphasizing stretching, balance and flexibility.  Gentle Yoga is for participants new to Yoga or returning to physical activity who want a less strenuous class.

Sculpt and Stretch - (Friday; 9:00 am) This class will strengthen, tone & condition your major muscle groups. It starts with a light aerobic warm-up followed by a total body workout and stretch.  This class is great for those who are new to exercise, have limitations, and/or are returning to exercise after a considerable amount of time.  This class is also be modified for those with higher fitness levels by using heavier weights.
